Thanksgiving Ideas - DIY Ideas for Thanksgiving T-Shirt

I have been pinning and plotting and planning to make a shirt like this since I was pregnant with Anderson.  They just look so simple, and they would be great ways to use up scrap fabric.  And they are just so dang cute.  I am gonna share a few of my favorite Thanksgiving shirt ideas with y'all today.  And you still have a week to whip one up!  I think they all look pretty simple to make, and you probably have everything you need to make them already...  Some are sewn fabric or felt, some glue, paint, Silhouette... just about any craft medium you can think of is below!

Well, I know I am officially sold.  And hopin' and prayin' I find the time to make one for my little man before the big day!  Do you like making little shirts for seasonal activities?

Daily Blogging Lessons #NaBloPoMo

NaBloPoMo November 2013

Friday, November 8, 2013
Tell us what you've learned so far about daily blogging.

Ugghhhh!  I have most certainly learned that this is gonna take some serious sacrifices.  Especially with a broken laptop, first trimester funness, a two year old that I love and adore, trying to get enough of our stuff ready to have a little show, and helping at my friends shop a couple days a week.

But I love this little blog.  It's where I have recorded almost all of our major achievements as a family, where I get to share the good things in our lives, it's an outlet for my creative side, a place where I can connect with other mommas... and I have always wanted to dedicate more time to it.  But I also like sleep, and that's about the only thing I am willing to sacrifice to maintain it right now.

These prompts are also SUPER helpful, I just apparently have no new or creative thoughts in my head about five days a week.  Looking back, I average about two decent posts a week that I am super proud of, and I think for the most part, I am really ok with that.  I would like to add maybe one or two more a week, but I know that's all I got in me.

I sure hope I don't bore y'all do death with this silly rambling, but I feel like it's kinda like those exercises we used to do in writing classes, where you just write something, anything... even if it's just your own name, just to keep your hands and mind moving, and eventually something will come out...

Do you wish you would blog more?  Do you wish you would start a blog at all?  Do you think I should be satisfied with my current rate of writing, or should I aim higher?

Thanksgiving Ideas - A Dozen Kid's Turkey Crafts

I adore Thanksgiving. The colors, the family time, the food, the weather, everything... And it makes me so sad that people just seem to skip right over it. I am still recovering from Halloween, I just barely have time to think and Thanksgiving is here. How are people already prepared for Christmas?

So just for my fun, every Thursday this month I am going to share some of my favorite Thanksgiving things! This week I am going to share kid's crafts ideas. I picked this first because I am pretty sure this is one of the few I am actually going to try to do! We are going to Tennessee for the weekend, and we will get to spend lots of time with all of our family, including our nieces and nephews, who I think might like some of these goodies!

I hope you find a little bit of inspiration to share with your family this Thanksgiving!  Thank you so much for reading!
